The course is intended to meet the requirements of the Rulebook of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, pursuant to Article 16, paragraph 1 of the Ordinance on Seafarers' Certifications and Certificates (Official Gazette 130/13) as well as the requirements of Table A-II / 3 STCW Codes.

The applicant for the acquisition of a certificate must pass the training programs from Annex D to the Ordinance on seafarers' attitudes and qualifications, Part D2 (Basic Safety onboard), D11 (GMDSS Radio-operator), D12 (Fire Fighting Management), D17 (Handling a Boat rescue boats and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats), D19 (Medical First Aid), and D44 (Using the Electronic Displays of the Maritime Information Card (ECDIS). 

The course was approved by the administration of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure. People Successfully Succeed The Special Responsibility Training Program on a Boat on Up to 500 BT Maritime College will issue the appropriate certification. The applicant for the acquistion of a certificate must pass the trainng programs from Annex D to the Ordinance on seafarers.
